Lead Stylist- Avalon
The Lead Stylist will be responsible for helping to manage all day to day sales and operational responsibilities within the store. This person will be responsible for achieving sales goals, will help to cultivate a warm and friendly environment for guests, and assist upper management by leading and mentoring team members. They will be direct support to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Performs and supervises store opening and closing procedures following American Threads policies
- Utilizes sales reports on POS to track and analyze business.
- Manager-on-duty (MOD) - supervises team of associates to ensure store is efficiently operating in all aspects.
- Helps to create a warm, inviting experience for all customers and coworkers by consistently having a positive and encouraging attitude while working on sales floor.
- Educates and updates staff with hourly sales goals and metrics.
- Motivates staff and leads team by example in upholding all standards of American Threads sales/selling policies.
- Acts as sales manager at all times. Oversees American Threads selling standards are being completed/upheld.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent/B.A or B.S degree in-progress or completed preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in specialty management within a "like brand" environment
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
- Attention to detail with a strong ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively and efficiently
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Flexible schedule with ability to work weekends, nights and holidays
