Our Fav Places To Munch: Cali Edition

Our Fav Places To Munch: Cali Edition

There are so many great things about living in California but one thing that is at the very top of the list is all the amazing food. Whether you want sushi, tacos, or truffle pasta this beautiful state has it all. What’s so great about these restaurants is not only is the food amazing but the atmosphere and aesthetic is so beautiful- def Insta worthy. Below is just a handful of some of our fav LA/OC restaurant that you must pop in for a visit.

Zinc (LA)

This crip rustic cafe has such good vibes at any time in the day. Perfect for a daytime coffee sesh or wait until the sun goes down and have a glass of wine on the patio with your best gals underneath the string lights. Their menu is chic and healthy but also has a few splurge options like potato pizza and Zinc fries with truffle salt.

Gracias Madre (West Hollywood)

Definitely one of my favorite spots in Weho. I love the way this restaurant is decorated and their spicy margaritas are up there with some of the best I’ve ever sipped on. The most surprising thing about their menu is that they’re completely plant based. As someone who doesn’t normally eat strictly plant based I was a little bit hesitant but I’m telling you this is some of my favorite mexican to eat. The food is so flavorful and super filling. Also-you pretty much always have a celeb spotting at this restaurant which is always fun for visitors.

Mama Ds (Newport Beach)

If you are wanting some family style Italian and great service then head to Mama D’s Italian Kitchen down in Newport beach. 7 words- they give you bread while you wait. Need I say more? You instantly feel like family when you walk through their doors. The staff is always so sweet and welcoming and I could eat their pasta for every meal.

Punta Cabras (Santa Monica)

Punta Cabras is another one of my favorite Mexican spots in the LA area. I’m originally from the south so I am used to everything smothered in queso and that unfortunately doesn’t happen in California but Punta Cabras fresh ingredients make up for the absence of it.

Mamas Shelter (LA)

Catch LA (West Hollywood)

Spartina (LA)
