It's finally here babes! The legendary festival that always promises an eclectic mix of artists and a grand old time. With so many acts lined up, we picked out a few of our favorites for you to keep an eye out for as you ramble on through the magical fields of Bonnaroo. Listen along to our #BonnarooBabe playlist on Spotify!
Glass Animals
Nothing compares to the unique sound of Glass Animals. Psychedelic and jungle-like, they put on a show that will be quite the memorable experience. Their latest album How To Be A Human Being features a lively electronic feel that will have you dancing all night. Indulge in the madness at the Which Stage at 10:00 PM Friday night!
The xx
An indie favorite, The xx is most famous for their nostalgic instrumental "Intro" released in 2009. Their third album I See You was released this January and has fans totally captivated by their new celestial sound. "On Hold" is my new personal favorite. Catch them on the What Stage Friday night at 8:45 PM.
Portugal. The Man
Portugal. The Man never fails to amaze me with their music; every new album they release carries a consistent style with a fresh spin. Released just last week, "So Young" features a total retro vibe, inspired by the soul of R&B. You can catch this American rock band Friday night at 12:45 AM at This Tent.
Greensky Bluegrass
Soulful and sincere, Greensky Bluegrass always performs with a heartfelt pureness that will leave you feeling quite bittersweet. As much as I love their acoustic albums, there's nothing like a live Greensky Bluegrass show and if you're into strings, definitely catch them Sunday at 7:15 PM at That Tent.
Umphrey's McGee
Last but not least, the energized jam band Umphrey's McGee has a following like no other. With two sets at Bonnaroo this year, you'll be sure to catch some amazing covers along with music from their recent mashup album, Zonkey. After seeing dozens of Umphrey's shows, I can honestly stay I am still blown away every time. See them rock at That Tent on Saturday at 1:30 AM, and Sunday at 5:15 PM at Which Stage.
